A lot of people these days are turning to a home business called Internet Affiliate Marketing. Just what is it, how do you market these products, and how do you get involved. I started off doing Internet Affiliate Marketing in October of 2008. I realized what I was doing was Affiliate Marketing in April of 2009, up until then I didn't know what I was doing.
First off Internet Affiliate Marketing is when a person or it could be a group of people, sell products they don't own, to people via the Internet. The Affiliate never handles the product nor does he/she directly interface with the customer. Companies that have affiliate programs provide the products sold.
Now you just can't go out and sell them because most of the companies that have affiliate have certain restrictions, such as you can't use spam mail to market their products. Plus they may provide their own banners and text links that they require you to use.
How do you market these products? There are several ways to market affiliate products. One way that is popular is called article marketing or BUM (Burn Marketing). This process you write articles about the product, using a lot of key words so that the search engines will pick them up. Then post the article on line at such posting sites as www.squidoo. This way people looking for the product you wrote about, will come read your article and then click the link you have provided in your article to the product and there you go, you made some money.
